The Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress on Thursday afternoon announced a "secular, all-inclusive Common Minimum Programme" which will serve as the guiding principle for the Maha Vikas Aghadi government which will take office on Thursday, top party leaders said.

The CMP focuses on farmers, unemployment, girls and women, besides industry, health, social justice and other sectors for the overall benefit of the state and its people.
The CMP was announced at a joint press conference by Shiv Sena Legislature Party Group leader Eknath Shinde, NCP Legislature Party Group leader Jayant Patil, NCP National Spokesperson Nawab Malik and Congress Legislature Party Group leader Balasaheb Thorat.
