For Indian travellers, Singapore has long been an easy favourite. It is compact enough for a short break, packed with family-friendly attractions, and offers everything from hawker food and high-end shopping to nightlife, cruises and major international events. Now, fresh tourism figures show just how strong that appeal remains.

More than 600,000 Indian visitors travelled to Singapore between January and June 2026, according to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). Tourism receipts from India also rose 8 per cent year-on-year to SGD 374 million in the first quarter of the year, the highest growth recorded among Singapore’s source markets during the period.

The numbers come as Singapore looks to deepen its relationship with the Indian travel market, with a growing emphasis on repeat visits, longer stays, premium travel, business events and new experiences.
