Bhopal, also called the City of Lakes, is the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Said to have been founded by Raja Bhoj, who constructed Bhopal, or "Bhojpal," as it was known in the 11th century. Each exhibition is life-like, and visitors can enter the houses and villages to feel what it's like to live in them. The displays were created with the direct participation of the tribes they represent.
