SunRisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad have lifted the Indian Premier League trophy once, in 2016. Their predecessor team from Hyderabad, Deccan Chargers, had won the IPL title in 2009. SRH have not entered the IPL playoffs since 2020, and finished at the bottom of the table in IPL 2023. The franchise will be captained by Australia skipper Pat Cummins. He was bought by SRH for INR 20.50 crore. The team also hired another World Cup winner in Travis Head for INR 6.80 crore. Hyderabad will play their first IPL 2024 match against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 23.
