“I think really good performance. Just the backend of the innings, we could have got a few more. We went harder at the first and the pitch slowed down a bit. Jonny Bairstow, Dawid Malan, Joe Root, they were all great,” said Buttler.

“Dawid Malan to go out there and get a hundred is what you need. Yeah, I think you are always looking for the perfect performance. From overs 30-40, we probably scored some 100 runs. The guys attacked that period and it was very smart,” Buttler added.

Buttler stated that his side's got a good balance and combinations and will try to read the pitch conditions well for the upcoming World Cup games.
