The body of an Indian, who was missing since a catastrophic earthquake hit Turkey on February 6, has been pulled out from underneath the debris of a hotel, the Indian embassy informed.
Vijay Kumar was working for a Bengaluru-based company and was on a business trip to Turkey. Kumar was from Uttarakhand.
According to media reports, Kumar was pulled out from beneath the rubble of hotel Matalya.
We inform with sorrow that the mortal remains of Shri Vijay Kumar, an Indian national missing in Turkiye since February 6 earthquake, have been found and identified among the debris of a hotel in Malatya, where he was on a business trip.@PMOIndia @DrSJaishankar @MEAIndia
