Bihar Labourer Allegedly Murdered In Gurugram

The labourer's son has claimed that a contractor with whom his father had a dispute over wages was responsible for the killing.

The Gurugram, Sector 56 police station has registered an FIR after discovering the blood-soaked body of a 52-year-old migrant labourer from Bihar. The man, identified as Ram Vilas, a Bihar native, labourer was allegedly bludgeoned to death over wages-related disputes and his body was dumped in the bushes of Sector 56, Gurugram.

The labourer's son has claimed that a contractor with whom his father had a dispute over wages was responsible for the killing. As per the police, they received information about a blood-soaked body lying in the bushes near the Rapid Metro station on Golf Course Road Wednesday morning and reached the spot. Injury marks on his head and face indicated that a heavy object hit him. A brick was also found lying nearby.

The FIR was registered based on a complaint filed by the labourer's son. Sector 56 police station SHO Sanjeev Kumar said they were scanning CCTV footage to identify the accused.
