Yes, we are talking about Regina George, the iconic leader portrayed by Rachel McAdams in the original Mean Girls cast, who opted out of the recent Walmart Black Friday commercial that saw Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried reuniting.

In a recent interview with Variety, Rachel McAdams shared the reasons behind her decision to skip the reunion.
McAdams, renowned for her portrayal of the iconic Regina George, explained that her decision not to participate in the Walmart ad was rooted in her longstanding aversion to doing commercials. Unaware of her co-stars' commitment to the project, McAdams cited a lack of enthusiasm for commercial work as the primary reason for her absence.

"I don't know, I guess I wasn't that excited about doing a commercial if I'm being totally honest," McAdams told Variety. "A movie sounded awesome, but I've never done commercials, and it just didn't feel like my bag. Also… I didn't know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be a part of a Mean Girls reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later."
The Walmart ad, which premiered in November, featured Lindsay Lohan reprising her role as Cady Heron, alongside original cast members Lacey Chabert (Gretchen Wieners) and Amanda Seyfried (Karen Smith). Notably, McAdams' character, Regina George, was absent from the reunion.

Addressing rumors of a possible cameo in the upcoming Mean Girls movie, adapted from the Broadway musical, McAdams clarified that, despite attempts by herself and writer Tina Fey, Regina George would not be making an appearance in the new film. Renée Rap has been cast as the new Regina in the highly anticipated movie.
"Tina and I sort of dabbled with a few ideas, but it was tough to make it all work in the end," McAdams explained. "I was really down for whatever she wanted to do. I think the direction it went in will be fantastic and I cannot wait to see it."
