Starting Friday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami began campaigning for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. On the first day of the campaign, the Chief Minister addressed rallies and public meetings in three constituencies — Siwan, Goriakothi, and Warsaliganj — urging people to vote in favor of BJP candidates.

Chief Minister Dhami participated in the nomination and blessing rallies (roadshows) of BJP candidate Aruna Devi from Warsaliganj (Nawada district), BJP candidate Deveshkant Singh from Goriakothi, and BJP candidate and Bihar Cabinet Minister Shri Mangal Pandey from Siwan constituency. Thousands of people gathered to welcome the Chief Minister, and great enthusiasm was seen among the crowd. Known for his strong Hindutva image, CM Dhami enjoys popularity across the country — a glimpse of which was evident during the Bihar election campaign.

In his address, Chief Minister Dhami said that the NDA coalition government has carried out several development works in Bihar. He stated that if the NDA forms the government again in the upcoming elections, Bihar will write a new chapter of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Attacking the opposition, he said that the history of RJD and Congress has been marked by corruption and dynasty politics, and these parties are once again trying to bring back the “jungle raj” in Bihar. He further added that there is a competition of corruption between the Lalu family and the Gandhi family.

The Chief Minister said that the BJP government in Uttarakhand has implemented strict laws such as the Anti-Cheating Act, Anti-Conversion Act, and Anti-Riot Act. He added that Uttarakhand is the “land of the gods,” while Bihar is the “land of knowledge.” Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is scripting a new story of development — with progress in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and other sectors. He said that the central government’s welfare schemes are reaching the last person in society.

He highlighted that over 8.5 crore people in Bihar are benefiting from the free ration scheme, while more than 50 lakh poor families have received permanent houses. Every household in Bihar now has access to tap water, toilets, and electricity. Under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, more than 30 crore people in India have come out of poverty in recent years. Through the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Scheme, over 75 lakh women in Bihar have received financial assistance of ₹10,000 each, empowering women across the state.

CM Dhami said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, efforts are underway to transform Bihar into a developed state and contribute to the vision of a “Developed India.” He asserted that on one side stands the development-oriented BJP, and on the other, the corrupt, dynastic, appeasement-driven, and anti-national Congress and RJD. He urged the people to uproot such parties from Bihar and ensure victory for the BJP that stands for growth and progress.
