Sunrisers Hyderabad dismantled the Delhi Capitals bowling attack to make their way to 242/2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. After being invited to bat first, SRH got off to a strong start with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head forging an opening stand of 97 runs in 8.5 overs. Abhishek Sharma was in terrific form as he smashed his way to a 47-ball hundred. He stayed unbeaten till the end on a record-breaking score of 135 (68). Heinrich Klaasen supported him well with cameo of 37 runs in 13 deliveries. DC's bowling attack was pedestrian and they could barely create a chance. Axar Patel scalped one wicket while the other came through run out.
