Both teams share a point each and that means defending champions KKR have been eliminated from the race to top four while RCB have become the new table toppers.

This was the first match of the tournament since it was halted abruptly on May 8 midway through the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals clash due to India-Pakistan clashes. However, rain began little before the scheduled toss time and then never went away.
