Pakistan will be aiming to complete a 3-0 series whitewash as they take on Sri Lanka for the series concluding 3rd ODI at the Rawalpindi stadium from 3:00PM (IST) onwards.
The hosts, led by new captain Shaheen Afridi, have already clinched the series 2-0 after winning both of the previous one-day internationals at Rawalpindi.
In the 1st ODI, Salman Ali Agha and Haris Rauf's excellence helped Pakistan prevail by 6 runs as they defended a target of 293 in a thrilling contest with Sri Lanka coming closer but not attaining the victory.
In the 2nd ODI, Babar Azam headlined with his first century in over 80 innings across formats, scoring 102* off 119 and guiding Pakistan to a comfortable 8 wicket win.
Today, they will be hoping to whitewash the Sri Lankans, who will be looking to conclude the series on a high note.
Shaheen Afridi won the toss and asked Sri Lanka to bat first in Rawalpindi.
