Sakib Hussain drops it on a good length around off, takes the pace off, but Sudharsan reads it early. He barely moves, waits on it, and then absolutely hammers it straight back over the bowler’s head. Clean strike, no doubt about that one, disappears into the stands for six!

Sai Sudharsan brings up yet another half-century in style. Shivang Kumar drops it in, and Sudharsan is already ahead of the game, down on one knee, whipping it away with a superb sweep. It races past the infield and into the deep backward square leg fence for four.

Fifty up, bat raised, and a big roar from the Ahmedabad crowd as the Gujarat Titans opener soaks it all in.

Washington Sundar picks up a boundary off Pat Cummins, who goes on a good length just outside off. Sundar stands tall, meets it cleanly and lifts it towards wide long-off with excellent timing. It looks like it might go the distance but drops just short, rolling away for four.

Sai Sudharsan departs after a crucial 61 off 44 as Sakib Hussain strikes for Sunrisers Hyderabad. A fuller delivery draws the shot, but Sudharsan mistimes it and finds Praful Hinge in the deep, who takes the catch to end a well-made knock featuring 5 fours and 2 sixes. Big wicket at a key moment in Ahmedabad.

Washington Sundar finds the gap again, this time off Praful Hinge. It’s fraction short outside off, Sundar shuffles across, opens the face and carves it cleanly through backward point. The ball races away for four, earning a warm round of applause from the Gujarat Titans dugout as he keeps the momentum going.

Washington Sundar keeps the momentum flowing for Gujarat Titans, bringing up the team’s 150 in style. Eshan Malinga misses his mark with a low full toss on middle and leg, and Sundar reacts instantly, scooping it neatly over short fine leg. It just clears the fielder and runs away to the boundary as he moves into the 40s.

Washington Sundar falls just after reaching his fifty as Sakib Hussain strikes again for Sunrisers Hyderabad. A clever slower ball does the trick, Sundar goes early on the whip and ends up top-edging it towards square leg. Ishan Kishan moves sharply to his right and pulls off a diving catch, ending a valuable 50 off 33 balls, decorated with 7 fours and a six.

Gujarat Titans post 168/5 in 20 overs after grinding their way back into the contest in Ahmedabad. It was a slow start, with just 34 runs coming in the powerplay and early setbacks as Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler fell cheaply.

From there, Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar rebuilt calmly, stitching together a key partnership that shifted momentum back towards GT, both going on to register half-centuries. Sudharsan provided the early stability before falling, while Sundar carried the innings deep and finished unbeaten on a valuable fifty off 33 balls.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Pat Cummins stood out with a tight, economical spell, while Praful Hinge chipped in with two crucial wickets, giving away very little. With SRH boasting an explosive batting line-up and GT’s bowlers also in strong rhythm, the chase is set up perfectly for a tense finish in Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Titans go straight to pace, and it’s Mohammed Siraj with the new ball, ready to test the surface early. Big hitters, fresh target, and no easing into this chase.

Nishant Sindhu settles under it at third man and completes a safe catch, giving GT the perfect start.

Abhishek Sharma is gone as Kagiso Rabada strikes for Gujarat Titans again. Abhishek steps out looking to attack, but Rabada keeps it tight around leg, cramping him for room.

The attempted carve only brings an inside edge that deflects off the thigh pad and crashes into the stumps. Rabada is pumped as GT grab a dream start, now with both SRH openers back in the pavilion early in the chase.

Mohammed Siraj continues to hit the right areas for Gujarat Titans, keeping things tight in the powerplay. It’s a tad short outside off, shaping away nicely, and Smaran Ravichandran goes for a tentative poke but is beaten all ends up by the movement. No run, but plenty happening early in this chase in Ahmedabad.

Jason Holder starts his spell for Sunrisers Hyderabad with control and discipline. First up, he bangs it short of a length outside off, extra carry doing the trick as Salil Arora goes poking and is beaten.

Next ball, he drifts onto a length around middle and leg, and Heinrich Klaasen calmly works it to mid-on to get off strike. Tight start from Holder, building pressure straight away.

Jason Holder keeps it tight for Sunrisers Hyderabad as he angles one in with a hint of movement back into Heinrich Klaasen. Klaasen goes for a gentle push but gets a thick inside edge, the bottom hand coming off as the ball trickles harmlessly to the on-side. No run, and Holder is building pressure early in this spell.

Prasidh Krishna strikes again for Gujarat Titans as Salil Arora departs for 16 off 13. He holds a good length in the channel outside off, and Arora goes for the drive but only finds the edge. Behind the stumps, Jos Buttler takes a sharp catch, and SRH slip further into trouble, losing half their side in Ahmedabad.

Heinrich Klaasen falls as Jason Holder delivers a massive breakthrough for Gujarat Titans. It’s a shortish delivery outside off, not quite there for the pull, but Klaasen goes for it anyway and only manages a leading edge that loops towards short fine leg.

Jos Buttler settles under it and completes the catch as SRH slump to six down, with the crowd erupting and Holder celebrating the big moment.

Pat Cummins fires back in style for Sunrisers Hyderabad! Prasidh Krishna goes short at him, but Cummins clears the front leg and absolutely smokes the pull over mid-wicket. Clean strike, full swing, and it sails into the stands for a big six, a strong statement in the middle of a collapsing chase.

It's all over! The SunRisers Hyderabad batting has collapsed like nine pins in Ahmedabad. Rashid Khan finishes things off, deceiving Praful Hinge in the air to have him stumped by a country mile. The Titans register a humongous 82-run win to move to the summit with 16 points, and are now on the verge of sealing a playoffs spot. As for the SunRisers, it's back to the drawing board.
