Bangladesh are set to face Hong Kong in the third match of the ACC Asia Cup 2025 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on Thursday, September 11. Bangladesh are in good form ahead of the fixture, securing a 2-1 win in their T20I series against Pakistan before a clean sweep against the Netherlands.
The Bengal Tigers have named a strong squad for the campaign under the captaincy of Litton Das. Mustafizur Rahman and Tanzim Hasan Sakib will lead the pace attack, while Litton and returning wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan will be key.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong, despite naming a strong squad, suffered a massive 94-run defeat against Afghanistan in their first game. Captain Yasim Murtaza, who dropped several catches against Afghanistan, will look to help his side make a comeback to prevent an early exit.
The Bangladesh vs Hong Kong match will be live-streamed from 8:00 PM IST.
Bangladesh and Hong Kong have met just once in T20Is. The match in Chattogram was a part of the ICC T20 World Cup 2014, and Hong Kong, an associate member, surprised the hosts with a two-wicket win, led by a player-of-the-match performance from Nadeem Ahmed.
