Hindu Mahapanchayat Event In Delhi’s Jantar Mantar Cancelled Midway Over ‘Hate Speeches’

The mahapanchayat was organised by the All India Sanatan Foundation and Hindu Sena on the clashes in Haryana’s Nuh.

The Delhi Police cancelled a Hindu Sena Mahapanchayat in Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

The event was cancelled midway after the speakers allegedly started making hate speeches, the reports said.

According to the police they stopped the speakers and asked them to leave the area after they spoke “against one community”, reported IE.

The report added no FIR has been lodged in the incident.

The mahapanchayat was organised by the All India Sanatan Foundation and Hindu Sena on the clashes in Nuh, it said.

It added those present included Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta, Raksha Dal’s Pinky Chaudhary and Dasna Devi temple priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati.

It said the event started at 10 am amid heavy police barricading.

“Around 11.50 am, Narsinghanand came and spoke about the Nuh clashes. He said, ‘If the situation doesn’t change, a non-Hindu person will become the Prime Minister… You won’t have any land for yourself and will have to drown in the Indian Ocean… since you won’t fight’,” the report said.

“While he was completing his speech, two officers rushed to him and urged him to stop. Organisers alleged police asked them to disperse, but police said only Narsinghanand was asked to leave,” it added.

“After this, another member gave a speech. The final speaker was Gupta who came on stage around 12.10 pm. He said, ‘Last month, there was a peaceful Shobha Yatra in Mewat but a group of Jihadis attacked with stones and fired. Several Hindu brothers were killed and others were left injured… Why hasn’t a CRPF camp been constructed there to punish these Jihadis?’ it said.

He also said, the report mentioned: “Why have we been surrounded by police here? We are the victims and should get an opportunity to speak. Nobody should have an objection… The country’s Partition was over religion but I feel it was incomplete. Till the time there are Muslims…”

A video of the incident was posted on social media.
