Bussy-Saint-Georges, in the eastern suburbs of Paris, is set to become the site of France’s first purpose-built Hindu temple constructed according to traditional Hindu architectural principles. The BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir will be inaugurated in September 2026, with the opening marked by the 13-day Festival of Culture from September 2 to 14.
