Despite being in the grip of the pandemic, Kerala has opened the famous Sabarimala temple for devotees on Saturday, after being closed for seven months.
This is the first time since March 25, when a nationwide lockdown was announced because of coronavirus pandemic, that pilgrims are being allowed to offer prayers at the hill shrine.
