England See Off Albania As Myles Lewis-Skelly And Harry Kane Secure Winning Start

Thomas Tuchel’s England reign began with a confident 2-0 victory over Albania in their opening World Cup qualifier at Wembley. Myles Lewis-Skelly eased early nerves with a composed finish in the 20th minute, becoming England’s youngest-ever goal scoring debutant on his senior debut. The Three Lions controlled proceedings, and captain Harry Kane sealed the win late in the second half with a superb touch and finish. The result hands England a strong start in Group K, securing three points to kick off their qualifying campaign.
