32 teams were divided into four groups of eight sides each, out which the top two from each group have now advanced to the quarter-finals. At the same time, Bihar and Meghalaya have been relegated to the Plate group as a result of being the bottom two sides in the combined group tally. Goa and Nagaland, the two sides which played the final of the Plate group, will be promoted to the Elite group for the next season.
As for the knockout rounds, the matches which were four-day affairs till the group stage will now be extended to five days.

All the quarter-final matches take place from 8-12 February, starting 9:30am everyday. Semi-finals will take place from February 17-21 while the final is scheduled for February 26-March 2.
