What is Google Pixel Watch?
In simple words, Google Pixel watches are smartwatches. It’s the first Android smartwatch, a wearable OS device with Fitbit health tracking, wearable UI and OS apps for Google services. Although it has its drawbacks such as aging internals and a 30 Hz display that does not fare well as compared to other smartwatches, Google Pixel Watch 2 is set to bring better features forward.

1. It is believed that Pixel Watch 2 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset although it will have the same NXP coprocessor. This means better performance and better battery life.

2. Speaking of battery, Pixel Watch 2 will come with a larger battery: 306mAh as compared to the first-gen's 294mA.
3. Pixel Watch 2 will also feature ultra-wideband (UWB) support.
4. Although, Pixel Watch 2 will come with a downgraded material. It will be made with aluminium rather than stainless steel. Since aluminium is less durable than steel, this means more scratches and dings on the watch's body.
5. It is rumored that Pixel Watch 2 will feature the same software that we saw in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 that debuted in July earlier this year.
Pixel Watch 2: Price and release date
There is no specific news on the release date but it is believed the Pixel Watch 2 will officially launch around the same time as Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro launch at a Made by Google event which is scheduled to be held in October 2023. There is no news on the price for Pixel Watch 2 yet. But generation 1 users believe that Pixel Watch 2 shouldn’t be costlier than the original Pixel Watch.
