Luxury wedding photography and storytelling studio Raabta by Shrey Bhagat has won Wedding Photographer of the Year at the prestigious WeddingSutra Photography Awards 2026, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s journey and recognising its distinctive approach to contemporary wedding storytelling.
Founded in 2022 by Shrey Bhagat and Manveen Ahuja Bhagat, Raabta, in just four years, has grown into one of the most recognised names in India’s luxury wedding photography space. The brand was built with the vision of creating wedding stories that feel contemporary, emotionally aware, and visually refined, with a strong focus on capturing moments with honesty, depth, and restraint.
At the heart of Raabta is Founder and Creative Director Shrey Bhagat, whose career spans over 14 years and more than 450 weddings across 30+ countries. Since launching Raabta, the company has documented over 100 weddings across destinations including Italy, Germany, France, Greece, Spain, the USA, the Maldives and the UAE, amongst others. Shrey’s approach is rooted in observing and documenting moments as they unfold, capturing the emotional, cultural and personal layers that make every celebration unique.
Over the years, Shrey has worked with leading business families and personalities, including the Birlas and Ambanis as well as Maanvi Gagroo, Sreejita De and Viraj Ghelani. Their work has also received recognition at international platforms including the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards (IWPOTY - New York) and Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA), while also earning industry recognition through the WeddingSutra Photography Awards, WOW Awards and other leading platforms. At the WeddingSutra Photography Awards 2026, Raabta also won Best Photograph for Wedding Details and was named runner-up in the Groom Solo category, further highlighting the studio’s versatility.
While Shrey leads the creative vision of the studio, Co-Founder Manveen Ahuja Bhagat brings her experience in advertising and brand strategy to the business. She leads the structure, business strategy, and growth of the company. Together, they have built Raabta as a close-knit creative team with a distinct and consistent point of view towards modern wedding storytelling.
