Crypto Price Update: Global Market Slips 0.89%, Dragged Down By Bitcoin, Ethereum Losses

The global cryptocurrency market retreated 0.89 per cent to $1.18 trillion over the last 24 hours, while the trading volume fell 14.97 per cent to $26.07 billion.

Worldcoin (WLD) was the most trending cryptocurrency for the third consecutive day, down 6.15 per cent to $2.13. Its 24-hour trading volume was $159 million. Immutable (IMX) was the top gainer, up 11.01 per cent to $0.8061, with a 24-hour trading volume of $140 million. Maker (MKR) was the top loser, down 6.90 per cent to $1,176.40. Its 24-hour volume was $125 million.

DeFi fell 9.57 per cent to $2.5 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down 0.95 per cent to $29,183.29. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.9 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was at 48.20 per cent, down 0.02 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum fell by 0.99 per cent to $1,858.60 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.1 billion.

Tether: Tether was up by 0.02 per cent to $0.9997 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $18 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) rose 7.12 per cent to $25.20. Its 24-hour trading volume was $732 million.

Avalanche was trading at $13.09, down 1.53 per cent, while its 24-hour volume was $90 million.

Cardano ADA fell 1.39 per cent to $0.3073. Its 24-hour trading volume was $155 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 2.80 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07642.

Shiba Inu was down by 0.87 per cent to $0.000007812.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.002286, up 0.52 per cent from the previous day.  

Yearn.Finance was up by 1.88 per cent to $7,033.08, while its 24-hour trading volume was $18.6million.
