Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s starrer Param Sundari release date has been pushed from July to August. The makers on Wednesday, officially announced the new release date of Param Sundari. It will now arrive in theatres two weeks after Hrithik Roshan-Jr NTR starrer War 2, which is releasing on August 14.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and directed by Tushar Jalota, it is billed as the "biggest love story of the year" and has got audience excited to see the fresh jodi on screen. Check out the new release date of the romantic drama.
Param Sundari new release date
Sharing the release date with a new motion poster reel on social media handles, the makers wrote, "Dinesh Vijan brings to you the Biggest Love Story of the Year #ParamSundari arrives in cinemas on 29th August. And in just 1 hour, feel its soul with the year’s most heartfelt song (sic)."
Param Sundari's first song Pardesiya was also unveiled on the same day. The romantic number is crooned by Sonu Nigam and Krishnakali Saha.
It has been composed by Sachin–Jigar, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Set in the picturesque backwaters of Kerala, the melodious number perfectly sets the emotional tone for the love story of Param and Sundari, and it will struck a chord with the music lovers for sure.
Sidharth called Pardesiya not just a song, but a feeling that stays for a long time with one after it ends. He also called it his personal favourite love songs to shoot.
"I have always had a soft corner for love songs and Pardesiya is one of the best that I have worked on. Having Sonu Nigam’s voice elevate the emotion makes it truly unforgettable. I’m sure the audience will love it," said Janhvi.
Param Sundari revolves around the story of two lovers from different backgrounds. It promises to be a perfect entertainer blended with laughter, romance, drama and unexpected twists.
It marks Sidharth and Janhvi's first film together and fans are eagerly waiting to see their chemistry.
Param Sundari was earlier slated to hit the screens on July 25, 2025.
