Panchayat Season 4, which released on Prime Video on June 24, received overwhelming response from critics and audiences. Following the success, the much-loved series is back with Season 5.
Set in the fictional village of Phulera, the latest season was filled with fresh challenges, and lots of humorous twists. It has surpassed all previous seasons in viewership, showcasing its wide appeal and gripping narrative.
On launch day, Panchayat Season 4 trended among the Top 10 titles in over 42 countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, and UAE among others, and was streamed in more than 180 countries during its launch week. In India, it has been trending at #1.
On Monday, Prime Video confirmed Panchayat Season 5 and also revealed that the show will premiere in 2026. The streaming platform also shared a poster with a caption, "Hi 5 👋 Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye 😌#PanchayatOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon(sic)".

It stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, Sunita Rajwar, Ashok Pathak and Pankaj Jha.
