CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Honours Martyrs' Families During ‘Tiranga Yatra’ In Jashpur

Launches signature campaign to mark the unity and success of ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid heartfelt tribute to the families of brave martyrs during the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ held in Charaidand village of Duldula development block, Jashpur district on May 17. The event, organised to commemorate the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, witnessed an emotional moment as the Chief Minister felicitated the families of fallen soldiers with shawls and shriphal at the Shiva temple premises in the village.

During the event, the Chief Minister honoured Smt Rozalia Tirkey, wife of martyred soldier L.K. Tirkey from Bagicha development block; Smt. Nirmala Kerketta, wife of martyred soldier Emanuel Kerketta; Smt. Alma Lakra, wife of martyred soldier Alexander Lakra; Smt Emaliya Ekka, wife of martyred soldier Prabhu Prakash; Shri Ailin Lakra, family member of martyred soldier Sunit Larda; Kanti Lakra, family member of martyred soldier H.C. Elisius Lakra; ex-serviceman Shri Naik Raju Ram from Jashpur development block; Manobha Kerketta, family member of late ex-serviceman Rajnish Bada from Kansabel development block; Smt Susan Lakra, wife of late ex-serviceman Fabianos Lakra from Kunkuri development block; and Smt Matilda Kerketta, daughter-in-law of martyred soldier Simon Kerketta. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said, “Honouring the families of our brave martyrs is a small gesture compared to their immense sacrifice. Their courage and dedication to the country are deeply respected by every citizen.”

To further bolster the message of unity and respect for the armed forces, CM Shri Sai also launched a district-wide signature campaign during the rally. Citizens enthusiastically participated, signing in support of national integrity and applauding the Indian Army’s bold and decisive action during ‘Operation Sindoor’.
