The Black Stars are looking disjointed in possession and are clearly crying out for a spark of individual quality or a more composed final ball to break through the Canaleros' disciplined defensive line. It is a frustrating start for Ghana, who are currently failing to retain the ball in the final third.

PANIC FOR GHANA! Panama are absolutely turning the screw, and the Black Stars look increasingly vulnerable at the back. After a contentious penalty appeal was waved away, José Luis Rodríguez quickly shook off his frustration to whip a dangerous cross into the mixer. Lawrence Ati-Zigi struggled to deal with the delivery, only managing to punch the ball clear as he tumbled awkwardly to the turf.
