FIFA Club World Cup 2025, Quarter-Final: Real Madrid Beat Borussia Dortmund To Enter Semis
Real Madrid have secured their place in the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 by defeating Borussia Dortmund 3-2. This victory marks their 14th win in their last 15 CWC games. Under the guidance of their new coach, Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid has been gaining momentum in the tournament. The quarter-final match began perfectly for Madrid. Arda Guler found himself with too much space on the left flank and delivered a precise cross to Gonzalo García, who volleyed the ball into the net from six yards out, marking his fourth goal of the tournament. Real Madrid continued to dominate in the opening stages, doubling their lead after 20 minutes when their wing-backs linked up. Fran García finished off Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross with a well-placed shot at the far post.
