Brazil’s hopes were significantly hampered by the heroics of Norwegian goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland, who crucially saved a 13th-minute penalty from Bruno Guimarães and denied multiple high-quality efforts from Vinícius Júnior and Gabriel Martinelli. Although the "Seleção" pushed late and eventually converted a stoppage-time penalty through Neymar, they lacked the composure to find an equalizer.
