Here is Olympiacos' line-up for the away Arsenal encounter:
The match gets underway at Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal, kicking from left to right, miss an early chance. Myles Lewis-Skelly dribbles through from the left flank and crosses in for Gabriel Martinelli, whose header inexplicably goes wide from really close range in the second minute.
There comes the opener for Arsenal. Martin Odegaard lines up Viktor Gyokeres nicely, and the Swedish forward dodges an Olympiacos defender before going for goal in the 12th minute. The shot hits the upright, but Gabriel Martinelli is on the prowl to tap it in, and the Gunners go ahead after some solid pressing.
Over at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, Barcelona have taken an early lead against defending champions PSG. Ferran Torres responds to a superb ball from Marcus Rashford and taps it in to put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute.
Arsenal come closing to scoring a second in the 35th minute. The Gunners earn their first corner of the match and the cross is headed on for Gabriel, whose own header is directed well, but an Olympiacos defender comes in the way.
After two minutes of added time, the first half ends with Arsenal in the lead thanks to Gabriel Martinelli's 13th-minute goal. Olympiacos are well in the game and could easily bounce back with an opportune moment or two in the second half.
The teams are back on the pitch and the second half gets underway. Arsenal now kicking from right to left and Olympiacos in the other direction.
At Stade Louis-II, Manchester City lead hosts Monaco 2-1, thanks to the red-hot Erling Haaland's brace (15th and 44 minutes). Over at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Napoli are in the lead against Sporting CP, courtesy Rasmus Hojlund's 36th-minute strike.
Olympiacos find the back of the net, but the offside flag goes up in the 66th minute. Ayoub El Kaabi's header was first saved well by Arsenal goalie David Raya, and Chiquinho pounced on the deflection to tap the ball in, but El Kaabi was deemed offside. A VAR check follows, and confirms that the on-pitch decision was correct. No goal.
Huge chance goes abegging in the 83rd minute! Arsenal could have put the game to bed there, but Olympiacos somehow manage to keep the ball out of goal. Bukayo Saka lines up an inch-perfect assist for Martin Odegaard, whose shot is first saved brilliantly by visiting custodian Konstantinos Tzolakis, before Odegaard tries to tap in the rebound, only to be denied again.
There it is, Arsenal's second goal finally. And it's Bukayo Saka who does the magic, that too in stoppage time. He surges into the box to respond to Martin Odegaard's through ball, drilling a shot past Tzolakis to seal the Gunners' victory.
Five minutes of stoppage time come to an end and after the full-time whistle, it's Arsenal two, Olympiacos nil. Mikel Arteta's men claim full points at home after a good performance, though not without facing challenges from their Greek opponent.
