In a recent interview teaser, veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was seen apologizing to Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni for his father's rude remarks on them. Yuvraj Singh is the son of Yograj Singh, who himself played in 1 Test and 6 ODIs for India.

Post retirement, Yograj Singh tried his hand at acting and was a part of some Punjabi and Hindi movies, with 'Bhag Milkha Bhag' being the most prominent one.

Yograj Singh's Fued With Kapil Dev

He does not mince his words, when it comes to expressing his displeasure about someone and in the past has bluntly criticism of Indian cricketing legends like MS Dhoni and Kapil Dev.

Yograj Singh played for India in the era when Kapil Dev was captain and was dropped prematurely from the team during his captaincy.

Yograj Singh was hurt by this move from Kapil Dev and held that grudge even after many years of the incident. In one of his interviews, he disclosed that he after being dropped he even went to Dev's house to kill him.

In the interview by the YouTube channel 'Unfiltered by Samdish', Yograj Singh said, "My wife (Shabhnam) wanted me to ask questions from Kapil Dev. I told her that I would teach this bloody man a lesson. I took my pistol and went to his home in Chandigarh Sector 9. There he came out along with his mother and I abused him in front of her. I told him, because of you I have lost a friend, and for what you have done, you will pay for it. I told him that I want to put a bullet in your head, but I'm not doing because you have a pious mother with you right now. I told Shabnam, 'Let's go.'

Yograj Singh's Harsh words On MS Dhoni

Yograj Singh didn't have some sweet words for former Indian captain MS Dhoni too. In the past, he has accused MS Dhoni of having a bias against Yuvraj Singh and dropping him from the team unjustly.

In an interview after Yuvraj's omission from the 2015 World Cup squad, he once said, "I don't what issue he has with Yuvraj Singh and other North players, but what I know is that he's a very egoistic person. Dhoni is a kind of person, who doesn't want Yuvraj in the team.

There have been other occasions as well when Yograj Singh has been highly critical of Dhoni's decisions and approach and has even attacked him on a personal level.

Yuvraj Singh, on multiple occasions, has disassociated himself from his father's comments and hasn't addressed the issue directly, but this time around, he's seen tackling it directly and issued an apology on behalf of his father.
