Delhi Capitals stunned Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets in Match 26 of IPL 2026 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in a last-ball thriller.
After being invited to bat first, RCB were off to a fiery start courtesy of Virat Kohli and Phil Salt, who forged 52-run opening stand in 5.2 overs. Post Kohli's dismissal, Salt continued on his merry ways and smashed 63 runs off 38 balls.
SRH were 146/4 at the end of 15 overs but DC bowlers pulled things well and gave only 29 runs in the last five overs to restrict RCB at 175 in 20 overs.
In reply, DC got off to a horrid start as they were reeling at 18/3 after three overs, but KL Rahul played a counter-attacking innings of 57 runs off 38 balls to bring DC into the game.
Tristan Stubbs slammed his consecutive half-century to complement KL Rahul and Axar Patel. At the end, DC needed 15 runs from the last over off Romario Shephard, and the Proteas southpaw finished off things with one ball to spare.
