Punjab Kings Vs Mumbai Indians Match 54 IPL 2026 - See Best Photos From HPCA Cricket Stadium Dharamsala
In a high-altitude encounter at the HPCA Stadium, Punjab Kings (PBKS) posted a formidable 200/8 against Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 14, Thursday. Leading for the first time, MI skipper Jasprit Bumrah won the toss and elected to bowl, but PBKS opener Prabhsimran Singh seized momentum early with a blistering 57 off 32 balls. Despite the onslaught, veteran pacer Shardul Thakur spearheaded an MI fightback, dismantling the PBKS middle order to finish with clinical figures of 4/39. His dismissals included PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer, momentarily stalling the Kings' progress. However, late-order aggression from Azmatullah Omarzai (38) and unbeaten Xavier Bartlett (18) pushed the total to exactly 200. With MI already eliminated and PBKS fighting to snap a four-match losing streak, the match remains a critical juncture in the playoff race.
