Shrijith departs for a well-made 54, but his wicket comes just when Karnataka were looking to push on again. Shreyas Gopal is left with the responsibility to guide the lower order as Karnataka slip to 193/5 after 35 overs, with momentum suddenly checked once more.

After 45 overs, Karnataka are 248/6, with Abhinav Manohar now carrying the responsibility to push on in the final stretch.
Darshan Nalkande is tearing through the Karnataka lower order! He first removes Vidyadhar Patil with a simple catch to Samarth R, then comes back to dismiss Abhinav Manohar, who edges another hard-length delivery to the same fielder in the deep. Abhilash Shetty survives two balls, while Vyshak manages a quick single in between. Aman Mokhade brings up his fifty and keeps the scoreboard ticking with calm singles, while Ravikumar Samarth settles in quickly. After 24 overs, Vidarbha move to 111/2, still well placed in the chase despite the timely breakthrough.

Vidarbha's chase is on course as they now need under 100 runs in 16 overs. Aman Mokhade (102*) has smashed a landmark century against Karnataka in chase of 281 in the semi-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, while Ravikumar Samarth (32*) is complementing Mokhade quite well and both of them are taking their team towards a sensational win against the defending champions.
Aman Mokhade (133*) and Ravikumar Samarth (55*) have stitched an ongoing 132-run stand for the third wickets to make it a one-sided run-chase. Both the batters put on a scintillating display of stroke play to make light work of the chase in a big semi-final match.
Vidarbha lost the centurion Aman Mokhade for 138 but he did his job and got his team to a winning position before getting out. Rohit V Binkar (10*) joined Ravikumar Samarth, who is playing on (67*) and also played a crucial role in taking his team to a winning position.
Ravikumar Samarth does it in style as he hit a boundary to take Vidarbha into the finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy beating defending champions Karnataka by 6 wickets. Both the teams had a face-off last year in the final, where Karnataka beat Vidarbha by 36 runs to win the title. But Vidarbha turned the table this year around and sent the defending champions out of the tournament in the semi-final stage.
New Zealand made a stellar comeback in the three-match series against India by beating them by 7-wickets in the 2nd ODI after losing the first one by 4 wickets. The series is now poised at 1-1, with the decider to be played at Indore on January 18.
With a thumping 6-wicket win over Karnataka, Vidarbha are into their 2nd consecutive Vijay Hazare Trophy final. They will be vying their first-ever VHT title on January 18, when they will face the winner of the 2nd semi-final between Punjab and Saurashtra that is scheduled to take place on 16 January, 2026.
