India A routed Sri Lanka A by 66 runs in the Tri-Series Final 2026 to clinch the trophy on Sunday, June 21, at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla.

Teen prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a sensational knock of 94 runs off just 29 balls to propel India to a massive 377/9 in the first innings. The 15-year-old had a tepid tournament till now as he wasn't able to convert starts into big scores, but the left-handed dasher picked the biggest occasion to display his talent and took India to 132/1 in just 9 overs.

After that, the Lankans did make a comeback by picking wickets at regular intervals, but Tilak Varma's steady 67-run knock and Anukul Roy's 15-ball 39-run blitz ensured that India reached an above-par total on a good batting pitch.
