RWP 17/1 (3)
Bowled! Mohammad Ali castles Mohammad Rizwan and Pindiz lose their 2nd wicket within the powerplay. Rizwan tried to defend a length ball but his feet didn't move and the ball jagged back in and uprooted his stumps.
RWP 20/2 (5)
Abdullah Fazal (9*) and Yasir Khan (11*) have the onus to take their out of the hole they have dug themselves into. Both the batter will have to forge a substantial partnership at a decent strike rate to take Pindiz to a competitve total.
RWP 37/3 (8)
Rawalpindi are in dire straits at the moment as 13 overs are done and they aren't even going run-a-ball and have already lost 4 off their top batter. Yasir Khan (23*) and Sam Billings have an uphill task at their hands of getting their team to a competitive total.
RWP 59/4 (13)
Just as it was looking that Rawalpindi are stitching a small partnership, they lost the wickets of Yasir Khan and Saad Masood in back-to-back overs, digging themselves into a huge hole.
RWP 84/6 (16)
Asif Afridi played a handy 15-run knock in the end to take Rawalpindi over 120 in the first innings. It was a dismal show by RWP's batters, while Hunain Shah and Mohammad Ali shone with the ball for HYDK, picking three wickets each.
RWP 121/9 (20)
Asif Afridi weaves his magic with the ball as he gets the key wicket of Maaz Sadaqat (4) in the very first over to give some hope to RWP in their quest of defending a lowly target of 122 runs.
HYDK 6/1 (1)
Asif Afridi gets his second wicket in the form of Saim Ayub, who departs after scoring 15 runs from 11 balls. Ayub tries to sweep the ball but gives it into the hands of the short fine fielder and Hyderabad lose their second wicket.
HYDK 28/2 (4.1)
While Rawalpindi tried to assert pressure on Hyderabad with some early wickets but Marnus Labuschagne's brisk knock took the match away from the former. Though Labuschagne is dismissed by Saad Masood but his brisk knock of 32 off 21 balls has made it a simple equation of needing 54 runs off just 66 balls for HYDK with 6 wickets in hand.
HYDK 68/4 (9)
Kusal Perera (22*) and Irfan Khan (22*) have stitched a 31-run unbeaten stand for HYDK, which has taken the match away from Rawalpindi as Hyderabad now need only 22 runs to win in 36 balls.
HYDK 100/5 (14)
Kusal Perera gets one on the pads and he hits it for a four and with it Hyderabad win the match comfortably by 5 wickets with 21 balls to spare. This is HYDK's third win on the trot after a dismal start to the tournament and they are well and truly alive in the race for the play-offs.
HYDK 123/5 (16.3)
That's a wrap from our end. We'll be back soon with another blog, until then, bye bye.
