England vs Pakistan, 1st Test Day 3: Robinson Leads Charge As Three Lions Win By An Innings And 103 Runs

England wrapped up a dominant victory over Pakistan inside just three days of high-intensity play at Headingley, Leeds, securing an emphatic win by an innings and 103 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. After opting to bowl first, England bundled Pakistan out for 171 runs in their first innings. In response, stellar half-centuries from Harry Brook (91), Jordan Cox (73), Joe Root (66), and Dan Lawrence (51) propelled the hosts to a commanding total of 409, establishing a massive first-innings lead of 238 runs. Facing immense scoreboard pressure, Pakistan faltered once again in their second innings, folding for 135 runs. Lethal spells from Ollie Robinson, Josh Tongue, and Jofra Archer—who picked up three wickets apiece—sealed the comprehensive triumph well inside the scheduled duration.
