Auckland City Hold Boca Juniors To 1-1 Draw At FIFA Club World Cup
Auckland City held Boca Juniors to a stunning 1-1 draw in their final Group C match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 in Nashville. Boca went ahead when Lautaro Di Lollo’s header hit the post and rebounded off goalkeeper Nathan Garrow into the net. Against the run of play, Christian Gray equalised early in the second half with a header from a corner, Auckland’s only goal of the tournament. A weather delay halted the game for nearly 40 minutes, but despite dominating after the restart, Boca couldn’t find a winner as Auckland secured a memorable point.
