The Ministry of External Affairs says 275 Indian nationals remain missing in Nepal, while 166 have been rescued following the devastating floods.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said 1,907 Indian nationals have safely crossed into Nepal from China, with no Indian travellers currently stranded in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
India has sent around 95 tonnes of relief material and 54 personnel, including tunnel rescue experts, forensic specialists and a medical team, to support Nepal’s rescue and recovery efforts.
