CM Yogi launches sharp attack on Congress over its remark, calls abusive comment against Prime Minister proof of Congress’ political misconduct.
Chief Minister says Congress is going through a phase of frustration, despair, and mental bankruptcy.
Lucknow, May 22: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly criticised Congress over the remark made by the Uttar Pradesh Congress President against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister said, "The abusive, unparliamentary, and unforgivable comment made about the Prime Minister exposes Congress’ political misconduct and poor political culture."
Posting on social media platform X, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the language and behaviour of the top Congress leadership have repeatedly undermined democratic decorum. He added that even the Congress 'yuvraj' had earlier displayed similar misconduct through his remarks. The Chief Minister said that Congress has now reached the peak of frustration, disappointment, resentment, and mental bankruptcy. Due to the continuous decline in public support, Congress leaders are also losing political restraint and decency.
He further said that the kind of language being used by Congress leaders is not in line with the dignity of Indian democracy. He added that Congress has now reached a stage where it no longer remains in a moral position to even apologise to the people of the country.
