Nearly 200 people were arrested over lynching of two sadhus in April
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday said stern action will be taken against those involved in the lynching of the three men.
The incident took place on April 16 night when three men from Kandivali in Mumbai were going in a car towards Surat in Gujarat to attend a funeral.
We sadhus have left everything including our home, mother and father for a greater cause, then why we cannot leave smoking," Yoga guru Ramdev said.
The exact motive for the crime was not immediately clear, police said adding they suspected the victims' opposition to cow slaughter could be one reason.
