The incident happened when Kashif Masih was at his home in Peshawar's Sufaid Dheri Pishtakhara area.
On January 30, a Muslim man from Pataudi's Baba Shah locality lodged a police complaint alleging that his 22-year-old daughter had gone missing. It was later found that she had married one Rakesh, they said.
Two people travelling through the area were shot when the man opened fire at a crowd. One was killed and another was injured.
