The total Covid-19 case tally in India has reached to 3,40,53,573 cases, with total 4,51,980 fatalities due to the deadly virus.
While 379 fresh fatalities due to Covid-19 have been reported, the active cases have almost come down to 2 lakhs.
According to the Union Health Ministry data, active Covid-19 cases are at a 215 day low.
With 271 deaths recorded yesterday, the Covid-19 active cases toll declined to 2,40,221 cases. Active cases remain under the 30,000 mark for the 14th day straight.
The daily rise in new coronavirus infections remained below 30,000 for the 12th straight day. 278 fresh fatalities have been registered.
