IPL 2023, SRH Vs MI: Cameron Green's All-Round Show Secures MI Their Third Consecutive Win - In Pics

Cameron Green showed why Mumbai Indians (MI) invested big money to acquire his services for the season. First, he smashed his first IPL half-century, and later, bowled an economical spell of 4-0-29-1 to help his team clinch a 14-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). MI got off to a good start with a 41-run partnership between Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, but once the duo departed, Green (64 from 40 balls) and Tilak Varma (17-ball 37) smashed 56 runs between them in quick time to help MI regain confidence and post 192/5. The run chase did not start well for SRH, as they lost opener Harry Brook (9) and Rahul Tripathi (7) in quick succession. Mayank Agarwal top-scored for them with a 41-ball 47. Green dismissed captain Aiden Markram for 22, who seemed to be in good shape. Save Heinrich Klassen later in the inning, no other batter could play a supporting role, as young Arjun Tendulkar defended 20 runs off the last over, conceding just 5 runs.
