The places at the Paris Olympics 2024 are filling fast. Before the end of the month, the Hockey Women's Tournament will have its complete line-up for the upcoming mega-event, with six teams joining the six that have already qualified by way of the FIH Women's Hockey Olympic Qualifiers 2024. Split into two, the competition will take place in India and Spain at the same time. Eight teams each will contest for three available spots in Ranchi and Valencia, partaking in a group-and-knockout format, with the three top-ranked sides punching their respective tickets for Paris. There, they will join the likes of Australia, Netherlands, and China, who had confirmed their participation in the Olympics' tournament through one of hockey's many major competitions.
India will be among the eight participating in Tournament A, which will be held in its entirety in Ranchi from January 13 to 19. They have been drawn in Pool B of the same, alongside New Zealand, United States of America, and Italy.
