Under his leadership, the BJP achieved a remarkable success in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh, securing 10 out of 11 seats—an increase of one seat from the previous election.

He speaks directly to the people’s issues, offering both solutions and understanding, which has helped him earn their trust. His leadership was instrumental in increasing the BJP’s vote share, and his active campaigning in neighbouring states contributed to the party’s strong performance there as well.

In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed 64 public meetings and participated in numerous roadshows, particularly impacting regions like Bastar, Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund, and Surguja. The BJP emerged victorious in all but one seat in the state, further solidifying Sai’s influence. His extensive campaigning also extended to Odisha, where his efforts contributed significantly to the BJP’s success. Sai addressed public meetings in seven Lok Sabha constituencies, leading to victories in six of them. His campaigning also bolstered the BJP’s success in key assembly seats in Odisha, positioning him as a central figure in the region’s politics.
Sai’s efforts were equally impactful in Madhya Pradesh, where he campaigned for the BJP in four constituencies and helped secure victories in all four. His high success rate across these states earned him the title of “super striker CM” from various media outlets. In Chhattisgarh, his strike rate stood at 91%, 100% in Madhya Pradesh, and 86% in Odisha, further solidifying his status as an influential leader.
Despite his pivotal role in the party’s success, Sai has always credited the party workers for their tireless efforts during the election campaign. He has consistently emphasised that their hard work, even in the scorching heat, was the key to the party’s victory.
