A man jumped from a building in Karnataka’s Koramangala area on Wednesday.

The reports said a fire broke out at a multi-storied building in Koramangala area of the city.
According to the PTI report the fire erupted in a pub on the fourth floor of the building.

A video showed the act of man jumping from the building to escape the flames.
The building accommodates a prominent car showroom and cult gym.

Reports said that one individual has been injured and the authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire.
As soon as people noticed the smoke emanating from the building, they raised an alarm.
Besides alerting police and fire brigade, they rushed to rescue people who might be trapped, sources in the fire brigade said.
“People in the area also heard a blast sound. Thick smoke billowed from the building,” it said.
The video footage of the incident also showed a man jumping from top of the building.
The firefighters have been rushed to the spot.
The reason behind the blaze was not known immediately, the reports mentioned.
