Rajasthan Earthquake: 3 Quakes In 30 Minutes Jolt Jaipur, No Casualty Reported So Far

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the first quake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale, hit Jaipur at 4.09 am while the second earthquake of magnitude 3.1, occurred at 4.22 am. The third one of 3.4 magnitude was felt at 4.25 am on Friday.

Within a time span of 30 minutes in the wee hours of Friday, Rajasthan's Jaipur felt three earthquakes measuring 4.4, 3.1, and 3.4 on the Richter Scale, said the National Centre for Seismology.No casualty or damage of property due to the tremors have been reported so far.

It has been reported that panic-stricken people rushed out of their houses as the tremors were felt in parts of the city. 

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the first quake, measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale, hit Jaipur at 4.09 am.

The second earthquake of magnitude 3.1, occurred at 4.22 am.

The third earthquake of 3.4 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt at 4.25 am.

Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje also confirmed strong tremors were felt in Jaipur.

"I hope you are all safe!" she tweeted.
