Mild tremors were felt in parts of Himachal Pradesh after an earthquake of moderate intensity with its epicentre near Sangla rocked Kinnaur district on Friday, the Met office here said.
The earthquake struck around 10.50 am, it said. The tremors were felt in several parts of Kinnaur and adjoining Shimla district. There were no reports of any loss of life and property.
Kinnaur is located in a high-damage risk seismic zone.
