In an untoward incident, a 19-year-old woman who worked as a security guard in a housing society was beaten up and gang-raped in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad.
As per media reports, the victim was beaten up by the supervisor and two other guards before she was raped when she tried to protest.
It has been reported that the accused deliberately admitted her to a private hospital in Greater Noida instead of Ghaziabad to avoid the police when the victim's health deteriorated.
Later the relatives of the victim were informed about the incident and they took the initiative to inform the police following which, the police then initiated an investigation and arrested one of the accused, identified as Ajay.

Meanwhile, a search operation is underway to arrest the remaining two.
