Delhi Girl Stabbed 20 Times And Bludgeoned To Death On Road As People Walk By

A minor girl was stabbed and bludgeoned to death allegedly by her boyfriend after a fight on Sunday, the whole act was caught on CCTV which showed it happened on the street while people were walking by.

In Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area, a heinous crime occurred when a 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death allegedly by her boyfriend, a video of which is being widely shared on social media. 

The accused allegedly stabbed her multiple times before bludgeoning her with a stone. 

The video of the crime was caught in a CCTV camera and the whole act can be seen along with passersby watching it happen without any intervention.

According to the reports, the body of the victim, a resident of JJ Colony in Shahbad Dairy, was found lying in the street. 

An officer told PTI, she was passing through the street when she was intercepted by the accused, who stabbed her multiple times. 

Reportedly, the couple was in a relationship but had a quarrel on Saturday. On Sunday, the victim planned to attend the birthday party of her friend's son but was intercepted and stabbed repeatedly. She was also hit with a stone said the police. 

The police said the post-mortem will confirm how many times the victim was stabbed. 

According to reports Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Raja Banthia said, "The girl was brought dead and a post-mortem is being conducted. There were several injuries on her body. She was stabbed more than 20 times."

The accused, identified as Sahil, was arrested in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, just hours after the heinous crime took place. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Suman Nalwa, Sahil worked as a mechanic for air conditioners and refrigerators. The authorities are currently conducting further investigations, ensuring that the accused receives the maximum punishment for his actions. Ravi Kumar Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North), informed reporters that the accused, Sahil, resided in the Shahbad Dairy police station area.
